Why was my file removed?

Every upload is virus-scanned. If something flags positive, we delete it and email you.

Every file you upload runs through a virus scanner before your designer can open it. The scan usually finishes in under a minute.

If a file flags as infected:

  • We delete it from our storage immediately — your designer never sees it.
  • We email you a notice with the filename and what was detected.
  • We don’t share it with anyone — not other customers, not internal staff, not third parties.

This catches the rare case where an old laptop quietly malware-bombed a PDF or a stock-photo site bundled something nasty. False positives are extremely rare; if you’re sure your file is clean, re-upload it from a different source (export fresh from your design tool, or download again from the original site).

If you’re still seeing the file removed, message your project manager — we can manually whitelist it after a hand-review.
